Reasons for leaving the POKS

The poks was a really great band. Yes, I mean it. Indeed,
the poks was the greatest band that ever lived, teeming with the unparalleled music potential to take the world by storm, until I left that is.
There are many reasons for leaving the band. To name a few: the 2/3 syndrome, the satanic lead guitarist trying to fuse his ominous guitar chord progressions with our sanctimonious songs, the criminialistic lead singer who unfortunately left his singing career to pursue a career in stealing pirate vcds and going to female toilets, etc.
The list is endless. Of course, one of the most obvious reasons why i left the band was because I was the most talented.
Despite the many laudable efforts made by me to salvage the band's reputation as well as its musical career, there were far too many disparities in our views, the 2/3 syndrome was simply too hard to handle( esp when the lead singer was often not around while pursuing his sinful hobbies) and last but not least, we lacked pok gel.
The poks eventually disintegrated under the influence of women, studies and the lack of muscial bonding---the dipole-dipole attraction formed when creative minds work together to bring music to life. Alas! The world has lost another great band...but even as you read, a new prodigy is about to emerge from the devastated music scene. Yes, as you have all guessed, UFO Nature is set to bring the world to its knees in excruciating euphoria, marking the dawn of a new millenium.
Though I have already left the poks, I am deeply sorry for their current plight and will wish them the best in all their future endeavours. I will still continue to support them as long as they start writing some new songs but nonetheless, I will not hesitate to dissolve the band if they choose to breach the copyright infringement laws which are bounded to my songs. Best of luck POKs, and may the force be with you.
